Feature-length whitewater kayaking film Rivering focuses on the passion and obsession kayakers have for their sport

Recently released kayaking film Rivering is an ode to the whitewater obsession.

Filmed on the rivers of New Zealand and directed by Bill Parks, Rivering is a feature length film that follows a different kind of narrative than many other kayaking films.

When executive producer Glenn Murdoch and Parks began discussing the project, they were not interested in making the classic extreme sports film. They instead wanted to make something that highlighted the vast majority of the kayaking world-the young, the old, the weekend warriors, the beginners and the perpetual intermediates. Combined with a look at wild New Zealand rivers, this is a glimpse into what whitewater means to the community who love it.
