When the Guam swells are too much to handle, take your kayak to the jungle

When nine to 11 foot swells are keeping you away from the ocean, the alternative is to grab a machete and explore the deep jungles of Guam via the island rivers. You never know what you will find. I have seen snakes, iguanas, monitors, barracudas, four footer eels, and more. Guam rivers are very alive and I keep hoping that one day I will run into some peacock bass, although the locals tell me that they are not on the island, but I can only keep on dreaming, right?
Here is a Low Sodium video exploring the different rivers on the island while catching some Tropical Mangrove Snappers. The Hobie Pro Angler 14 and the Outback are excellent platforms to fish these flat waters and cover some of the inhabited deep jungle areas. You never know what you could find when you are on uncharted waters. Thanks for watching.
