First Look: Air Fusion EVO by Advanced Elements | Adventure Kayak Magazine | Rapid Media

Ryan Pugh from Advanced Elements shows us their all new Air Fusion EVO – a true hybrid between a skin-on frame and an inflatable kayak.

Advanced Elements introduced their all new Air Fusion EVO at Outdoor Retailer 2017. This kayak is the highest evolution of Advanced Elements Air Fusion kayaks. It is a true hybrid between a skin-on frame and an inflatable kayak.

Advanced Elements really simplified the setup procedure of frame-style kayaks by replacing a lot of the frame components with inflatable components. The side air chambers have been replaced with a drop stitch material, which gives extra rigidity and also streamlines the setup.

The shell of the kayak is made from a polyurethane tarp blend which gives a layer of strong material to protect the air chambers inside.

The best part of this kayak? All of the components are replaceable. No more buying a new inflatable kayak if one of your parts springs a leak.
