Saturday evening is a catered, buffet-style dinner. On your registration form, let us know if you are a vegetarian or not. On Sunday morning there will be a continental breakfast.

There will be a licenced BEER TENT onsite for your convenience.

There is a small grocery store and beer/liquor store in Palmer Rapids as well as the Hometown Restaurant, both are on the main highway, only minutes from the site. They appreciate your support.

Daycare
Palmer Fest is a family-friendly event providing daycare during the clinics with your Palmer Fest registration fee. You won’t have to say, “No, we can’t go. What about the kids?” Daycare is available Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m.
at the Paddler Co-op Boathouse, for those taking clinics.

To ensure we have enough daycare staff, please indicate on your registration form that you require daycare and for how many kids. Please specify at which times throughout the weekend.

Note: Your child must me at least one year old. Please leave diapers, sippy cups, bottles, snacks, favourite stuffed dogs etc, sunscreen, water bottles for them while you are gone. You MUST return to retrieve your child immediately after your clinic (this is written here for a good reason).

Shuttle Bus
Trailhead Ottawa provides a free shuttle between Jessup’s campground and the Paddler Co-op Boathouse on Satuday evening.

Saturday Night and the Bands
On Saturday Rapid Media and Teva present the Palmer Fest paddlers’ social. There will be a catered dinner, special presentation by paddling legend Kent Ford, and the best whitewater films from the 2008 Reel Paddling Film Festival.
