April 30th, 2008 - Peter Karwacki offers his resignation to Whitewater Ontario executive.
On April 30th Peter Karwacki offered his resignation to the executive of Whitewater Ontario and they accepted it. He is no longer associated with the organization in any capacity. He continues on as the newly elected president of Les Amis de la riviere Kipawa.
Karwacki says, “My passion remains primarily with river preservation and river access issues and not the furthering of whitewater slalom paddling as a discipline, something which is best left to Whitewater Ontario”.
