Pattison Outdoor Advertising presents the 33rd Annual North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority Mattawa River Canoe Race on July 25th, 2009. Attracting paddlers from across North America, the one-day race traces 64 kilometers of calm lakes, portages, challenging rapids and beautiful provincial parks to end at the mouth of the Mattawa and Ottawa River. Competitive, recreational and voyageur canoe categories ensure that all types of canoeing enthusiasts can participate in the race. Participants in the family category paddle only the last 13 km of the race, providing a great opportunity to develop the skills and interest of current and future paddling enthusiasts!
