  • About me

I've been fishing here in Florida for 12 years now. I had a 1977 P.O.S. boat for a few months. That quickly proved more of a hassle than anything. Sold the boat and bought yaks for the wife and I about 2 months ago. By far the best decision I have ever made!!!!

Just got back from fishin Oslo. A few trout nothing to brag about. Did have a manatee come up to my wife and I while we were wading!! He was rubbing up on us like a cat rubbing on your leg it was the coolest thing!! We pet him a bit then wanted to let him get on his way so he didn't decide to put to much trust in us since most people suck!! That thing followed us all over rubbing up against us

Joe Corrigan Yep, $14.00 for 4 at Harbor freight. The batteries suck but everything else works well. I have had them in my yard for years and they light every night and make it through the night on one days charge in the sun.. When the cheepo batteries go out, and it will in a year or so, just replace it with a good one.

This poor guy was all tangled in fishing line. We tried to bribe him with salsa so we could untangle him.

About Rapid Media

What began in the summer of '98 as scribbles on a bar napkin is now the world's best paddlesports media company. Rapid Media has four paddling magazines, produces an international paddling film festival, had the very first paddling and fishing magazines in iTunes, and is the official partner of both the American Canoe Association and Paddle Canada. We're proud of all this, but the real reason we're the best is because we paddle and we care.
