What: The Potomac Whitewater Festival
When: July 11-12, 2009
Every summer, this event attracts participants from all over the country and many spectators from the greater D.C. area. Aside from the notorious kayak race down the Great Falls of the Potomac River, multiple events such as kayaking clinics, kayaking free style competition, etc. will take place over the two-day period.
