Be a part of the epic journey, Feel the Voyageurs experience for yourself as you paddle the historic commerce route of the voyageurs and First Nations people. Show your support for our local waterways on Canadian Rivers, and be a protector, promoter, and supporter of the Ottawa in the city and out of the city. This urban run kicks off on Victoria Island, stops for lunch ( brown bag it) and continues all the way to Petrie Island. Essence(organic /original catering company) is putting together some food with 40% of the proceeds going to Ottawa River Keeper, as is B.Goods bakery ( mobile cookie oven ) cooking up some awesome treats at the tak-out (so bring some money ).
See you on the water. You can register online if you want a 'tour' in a Voyageur canoe to ensure you get a seat !
