Come
join us for The Great Wilderness Clean-up!!
Renowned
wilderness canoeing expert and author of 11 books, Kevin Callan,
and wilderness canoeing enthusiast, Nancy Maddock, are organizing
a volunteer clean-up, The Great Wilderness Clean-up, for spring
2008.
The
next Great Wilderness Clean-up will take place May 10-11, 2008.
These
clean-up efforts are now an international event, reaching as
far as the United Kingdom! Clean-ups are being completed on
canoe routes, portages, campsites, campgrounds, access points,
backpacking and hiking trails, etc...just about anywhere that
people go to enjoy the wilderness.
Together
we can make a REAL
difference.
Major sponsors (Eureka, Explore Magazine, MEC, Nova Craft…) are involved, not only with prizes but with forming their own clean-up crews as well.
