VKC WHITEWATER FESTIVAL

Location: Chilliwack River, BC
The Vancouver Kayak Club is celebrating 50 years of paddling, and everyone is invited! Our festival is open to all whitewater enthusiasts - kayakers, open boaters, etc. Join us May 3rd and 4th, 2008 on the Chilliwack River, BC, Canada. Featuring class II to IV+ sections, including the famous “Tamahi” rapid, the Chilliwack River is known for its consistent water, great access and fun runs.
Festival will include: Secure Camping, Guided Runs, Clinics, Shuttle Services, Saturday Night Dinner with Beverage, Saturday Night Entertainment, On and Off River Contests, Prizes, T-shirts, Non-Paddling Activities and Lots of Fun!
The 2008 VKC Whitewater Festival is brought to you by the Vancouver Kayak Club, Brooks, Fluid Kayaks, Happy-2b Helmets, Kvarno Guest House, Moveo Sport and Rehabilitation Cetnre, Purple Hayes School of Kayaking, Sea to Sky Kayak Centre, Warm Rapids Inn and Western Canoeing & Kayaking.
