From Wednesday, January 16 2008 To Thursday, January 24 2008 Every day The inaugural Sitka Sound Ocean Adventure Race takes place on Saturday, June 16, 2007. There is a long course of 23 miles and a short course of 13.3 miles. This is an open-water ocean race,starting and finishing at Sitka Harbor on Japonski Island.
